The Honkers were Joshua's first puppet build for The Jim Henson Company — and they came with a remarkable responsibility. Working from original patterns created in the 1980s, Joshua fabricated six Honkers as well as three Batty Bats, honoring decades of craft and institutional knowledge throughout the builds.

The puppets went on to perform in two Off-Broadway runs and a national tour of Sesame Street the Musical.
