World Premiere — December 2026

We live in a cynical world. And yet every year, the holiday season offers us something rare — a collective permission to set that cynicism down and focus on what actually matters: spreading goodwill and finding joy together.

The Joyfully Jolly Jamboree was made for exactly that moment.

A 50-minute family spectacular transporting audiences into a nostalgic TV holiday special — complete with 11 original songs, handcrafted puppets, and toe-tapping choreography by Broadway's Danny Gardner (Dames At Sea). Vintage in spirit. Joyful in execution.

"Mr. Holden has dedicated his shows to lightening the mood of all in the theater, puppets and humans alike."

— The New York Times

50 Minutes • 11 Original Songs • Ages 6–106 • Premiering Virginia, December 2026

About the Creator

Joshua Holden is an Emmy-nominated puppeteer, Broadway Puppet Director, Jim Henson Company builder, and incoming Associate Puppet Director at the Metropolitan Opera. He has spent his career bringing handcrafted characters to life on the world's most celebrated stages — from Broadway to Sesame Street to the concert hall.

The Joyfully Jolly Jamboree is his most personal work to date. The seeds of this show were planted in an intimate parlor setting, performing for families who simply wanted to gather, laugh, and feel something together. That spirit — of warmth, wonder, and collective joy — is at the heart of everything this show is.
